Telescope Travels to Krakow
21-12-2016

Once or twice a year, all Telescopers get together during a Telescope conference weekend, somewhere around the globe. This year’s final conference event took place in Krakow, Poland, and we are proud to say that the Telescope team members kept up the spirit of being one big friendly family, from all corners of the world. Short but intense conferences meetings where altered with culture and socialization during three intense days, and as always during our conference trips, this journey provided thorough and beneficial opportunities to deepen the bonds with our valued colleagues.

Trip Timeline:
Dec, 02, 16  Arrival to Krakow. After a great time in Radisson Blu lobby, everyone went to dinner at Hawelka Restauracja near the main square to enjoy traditional Polish food next to a very educational and good spirited Telescope conference gathering.

Dec, 03, 16  After hotel breakfast the Telescope group went to Auschwitz,
and Schindler’s factory for a deeper examination of the history of the Nazi occupation of Poland.
An eventful and at times emotional day was concluded with dinner and conference at restaurant Tradycyja.

Dec, 04, 16 – Was a free day, so the group divided itself between shopping at the beautiful Christmas market at the main square, and visiting historical sightseeing sites such as Wawel hill, the Jewish quarter and the world’s oldest operational salt mine.
