DevOps Developer

For our client we are now looking for a DevOps developer who will join the development and maintenance organization for the website. The development is centralized to Sweden and the assignment is full time and based at an IT-department. You will join the DevOps team. The team consists of a Scrum master, build engineers, developers and application technicians. You will work on DevOps related tasks with focus on developing delivery pipelines, automation and improving our way of working. You will also work with other teams, to increase their ability and knowledge in this field, for the systems they maintain. This in order to improve existing processes and routines and help to build up a long-term situation for our client.

We think that you have a Java developer background, a Sysadmin background or a Configuration Management background. You should have an analytic mind that can help in finding issues before they happen and suggest improvements to the monitoring systems for helping you in this. It is a bonus if you have experience in deploying Java-stack middleware and helping in automating it. Additionally you have practical experience from working in an Agile environment.

 Work tasks:

 *) Work with automation in the environments together with other teams
*) Work with continuous delivery / continuous integration
*) Work with handling and provisioning of environments
*) Being third line for production incidents and issues
*) Setup and managing monitoring and help analyze root causes for incidents

Specific competencies:

*) Strong technical and analytical skills and operating large environments
*) Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration
*) Cross platform knowledge, Windows and Linux
*) Virtualization
*) DevOps experience


*) Required skills for the role: Git, Subversion, Maven, Windows, Linux
*) Nice to have skills: Puppet, Jira, TeamCity, Nolio/CA Release Automation, Java, Powershell, VMware, Cisco Firewalls, BigIP F5, Load balancers, Content Delivery Networks, Splunk, DynaTrace.
