Embedded Software Engineer for Volvo Cars
25-03-2022

We are happy to welcome a new team member on board!

Vinicius Alencar from Brazil joined us as an Embedded Software Engineer for Telescope supporting our client, Volvo Cars in Göthenburg.

As a child, Vinicius was very curious. His father was a mechanical engineer with a habit of explaining how things worked and was always fixing stuff at home. Vinicius ended up working with software development as it is a tool to control complex systems, hardware, and create cool things in general. It has been something he enjoys and learns something new every day.

Vinicius is experienced with embedded software prototyping, unit testing, and HIL automatic testing for software validation and general support to software calibration activities. He also has experience in developing embedded software for electric powertrains and is focused on electric motors and inverters. Previously, he has worked on projects where he was responsible for the implementation and analysis of C/C++ low level requirements with a focus on performance, quality, and robustness.

Outside work, Vinicius is a big fan of boardgames. He really enjoys gathering to play a couple of different games, socializing and of course winning some! He also enjoys outdoor activities and travelling, getting to know new places and people.

Before moving to Sweden with his wife, Vinicius has lived in 5 different countries. He looks forward to all the new experiences, cultural exchanges and a new language to get accustomed to.

Welcome to Sweden, Vinicius!

P.S. The dog in the photo is his friend’s dog who he used to dogsit in Brazil. Now, his friend also moved here so the dog also followed him :)
