Meet Sinan Turgut, a talented electrical designer from Turkey who recently moved to Sweden with his family and currently works for Telescope to provide his expertise to our client, ESS. Sinan is one of many engineers attracted to Sweden by its relaxed culture, stunning natural beauty, and world-class education system.
Since moving to Sweden, Sinan has been blown away by the warm and friendly atmosphere that he has found in his new home. Whether on the road or in the city, he’s constantly impressed by how polite and considerate the people around him are. Everyone’s smiling faces put him at ease, and his daughter noticed that even pets seem to be well-behaved and friendly in Sweden!
But it’s not just the people that have made Sinan fall in love with Sweden. He’s also thrilled about the opportunity for high-quality education that his children will receive in the future. His daughter is an aspiring artist, and here she can find a supportive community of like-minded individuals to help her grow and develop artistic skills academically. Meanwhile, his son wants to become a software developer, and there are many opportunities for foreigners to educate and work in this field.
Sinan likes to spend time outside with his family when he’s not working. From hiking and tracking to barbecuing and ice fishing, there’s always something new and exciting to experience. Sinan is a big fan of eating fish, and here one can find everything from classic Swedish seafood dishes like herring and salmon to more exotic offerings. He is looking forward to trying many new flavors.
He and his wife plan to buy a caravan and explore new places. There are so many beautiful locations in Scandinavia that it could take a lifetime to discover them. And if you’re lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you might even catch a glimpse of the world-famous white night phenomena, which Sinan looks forward to the most!
When spending time indoors, Sinan enjoys relaxing with science-fiction and arthouse films. He is delighted that his job leaves more than enough time for pursuing hobbies and personal interests.
