Paternal Leave
22-03-2023

Did you know that Sweden is one of the most progressive countries when it comes to parental leave? In fact, Sweden is often cited as a model for other countries looking to implement paternal leave policies.

New parents are entitled to 480 days of leave with maintained payment, which can be split between both parents. This means that fathers can take significant time off work to bond with their newborns and support their partners. In Stockholm, stay-at-home dads are such a common sight in coffee shops that they have a nickname — latte dads!
